At Esplac we understand the element participation not only as a consultation, but as a real implication of everyone in the project, where everyone is heard, where all the contributions, no matter where they come from, are valid. On the one hand, the decrease, understanding that constant and unstoppable growth is neither sustainable nor necessary for social and environmental well-being. This principle implies the <\/span><b>right to difference<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, diversity (not homogeneity) and non-stigmatization of people. We defend diversity as a source of enrichment and learning (Mirall de Realitats d\u2019 Esplac, 2017). For us inclusion is the sum of everybody in a group without any kind of discrimination. In fact, the word esplai itself has an uncertain origin, being a derivative of the concept of venting (giving expansion to a feeling or entertaining), which at the same time is a compound of the verb space with pollution or the crossing of pleasure. From the forties everything changed. Many of these initiatives had been able to germinate and mature during the years of freedom of the Republican period, but they would succumb in the new context of repression and rigid social control imposed by Franco\u2019s regime, especially in the immediate postwar years. Education would be relegated to a pure indoctrinating function, greatly impoverishing the great wealth of experiences that existed in previous years. The association is conscious about the need of the decentralization, a process that culminates with the creation of the geographic sectors for each of the territorial areas with esplais have presence. So, we begin to work with our own logic and to define a space for gather all esplais over the territory.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, during the third year, the increase of esplais that wanted to be member of Esplac continued growing so it appeared the need to create a working figure called\u00a0 <\/span><b>Secretaria T\u00e8cnica <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to carry out administrative tasks.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new internal reality forced the<\/span><b> Equip de Direcci\u00f3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Equip de Coordinaci\u00f3 nowadays) to take a new step introducing new representatives of the sectors. So, it was introduced the denomination<\/span><b> Equip General de Sectors<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The aim was to promote maximum exchanges among the various entities, with shared projects such as joint camps, and also by organizing large associative frameworks to strengthen links such as the <\/span><b>Trobada General d\u2019Esplac<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (the first, in 1938 with 300 participants) or <\/span><b>Trobada de Monitores i Monitors <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">designed to improve the educational task (the first in 1983). Apart from these internal spaces, Esplac provided regulated training &#8211; contracted from the entity with several accredited schools &#8211; such as the courses for obtaining leader title and title of director of leisure activities. Soon the requests and the supplies were increasing to the point that over the years the need to establish a school by their own . On the other hand, in 1986 the formalities had begun to ask the admission of an observant entity in the International Falcon Movement -Socialist Educational (IFM-SEI). In fact, the word esplai itself has an uncertain origin, being a derivative of the concept of venting (giving expansion to a feeling or entertaining), which at the same time is a compound of the verb space with pollution or the crossing of pleasure. From the forties everything changed. Many of these initiatives had been able to germinate and mature during the years of freedom of the Republican period, but they would succumb in the new context of repression and rigid social control imposed by Franco\u2019s regime, especially in the immediate postwar years. Education would be relegated to a pure indoctrinating function, greatly impoverishing the great wealth of experiences that existed in previous years. The association is conscious about the need of the decentralization, a process that culminates with the creation of the geographic sectors for each of the territorial areas with esplais have presence. So, we begin to work with our own logic and to define a space for gather all esplais over the territory.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, during the third year, the increase of esplais that wanted to be member of Esplac continued growing so it appeared the need to create a working figure called\u00a0 <\/span><b>Secretaria T\u00e8cnica <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to carry out administrative tasks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new internal reality forced the<\/span><b> Equip de Direcci\u00f3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Equip de Coordinaci\u00f3 nowadays) to take a new step introducing new representatives of the sectors. So, it was introduced the denomination<\/span><b> Equip General de Sectors<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Also the central figure of the General Secretariat is also reformulated, which would become a deliberated leader position, responsible for the technical Secretariat of the entity and with a great capacity for political action.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-panel panel-default panel-7724e639a86509160 fusion-toggle-has-divider\"><div class=\"panel-heading\"><h4 class=\"panel-title toggle\" id=\"toggle_7724e639a86509160\"><a aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"7724e639a86509160\" role=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion-26816-6\" data-target=\"#7724e639a86509160\" href=\"#7724e639a86509160\"><span class=\"fusion-toggle-icon-wrapper\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><i class=\"fa-fusion-box active-icon awb-icon-minus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><i class=\"fa-fusion-box inactive-icon awb-icon-plus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><span class=\"fusion-toggle-heading\">Meetings and trainings<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div><div id=\"7724e639a86509160\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"toggle_7724e639a86509160\"><div class=\"panel-body toggle-content fusion-clearfix\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During these years many of the most characteristic lines of action and projects of Esplais Catalans are initiated. The aim was to promote maximum exchanges among the various entities, with shared projects such as joint camps, and also by organizing large associative frameworks to strengthen links such as the <\/span><b>Trobada General d\u2019Esplac<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (the first, in 1938 with 300 participants) or <\/span><b>Trobada de Monitores i Monitors <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">designed to improve the educational task (the first in 1983). Apart from these internal spaces, Esplac provided regulated training &#8211; contracted from the entity with several accredited schools &#8211; such as the courses for obtaining leader title and title of director of leisure activities. Soon the requests and the supplies were increasing to the point that over the years the need to establish a school by their own . This will end up consolidating with the formation in 1991 of the <\/span><b>Escola Lliure El Sol<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, fruit of a partnership with the <\/span><b>Fundaci\u00f3 Ferrer i Gu\u00e0rdia.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-panel panel-default panel-641364d7c7badda14 fusion-toggle-has-divider\"><div class=\"panel-heading\"><h4 class=\"panel-title toggle\" id=\"toggle_641364d7c7badda14\"><a aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"641364d7c7badda14\" role=\"button\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion-26816-6\" data-target=\"#641364d7c7badda14\" href=\"#641364d7c7badda14\"><span class=\"fusion-toggle-icon-wrapper\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><i class=\"fa-fusion-box active-icon awb-icon-minus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><i class=\"fa-fusion-box inactive-icon awb-icon-plus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><span class=\"fusion-toggle-heading\">A project without borders: international modals<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div><div id=\"641364d7c7badda14\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"toggle_641364d7c7badda14\"><div class=\"panel-body toggle-content fusion-clearfix\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The will of opening and to establish links beyond its own natural space of action has always been a constant characteristics form Esplais Catalans&#8217; constant characteristic from his(her,your) foundation.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0In 1983, Esplac\u2019s representatives had been part of a Catalan delegation for the foundation of the FIEEA (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationales pour the \u00c9changesde Enfants you of Teenagers), with the French, Italian, Tunisian and Moroccan counterparts. On the other hand, in 1986 the formalities had begun to ask the admission of an observant entity in the International Falcon Movement -Socialist Educational (IFM-SEI).
